The Riff Report
The Riff Report is FairPlay’s grassroots music journalism initiative dedicated to strengthening audience connection across Charlotte’s live music ecosystem.
What began as a podcast has evolved into a decentralized Field Guide model, covering artists, venues, and festivals through interviews, recaps, and long-form storytelling. The Riff Report also serves as a civic training ground for emerging writers, photographers, and storytellers committed to a more equitable and connected music culture.
